0-18 Months (Crèche)

A caring and loving environment is provided where the children develop their motoring skills as they interact with other children. Emphasis is on meeting the needs of the child physically, intellectually, emotionally and socially through the use of appropriate resources, songs, rhymes and books.

1 ½ - 2 ½ Years (Toddlers)

Emphasis is on encouraging the child to become independent through interacting with the people and specific resources provided to help the development of the child in the environment. This development is across all areas –movement, thinking, language, communication and interaction with others. Activities include storytelling, arts and craft, singing, playing with puzzles and construction material and working with the Montessori materials.

2 ½ - 6 years (Nursery)

In addition to encouraging the child to be independent, the child is given the freedom to choose his/her work activities in the different curriculum areas. The child is introduced to Montessori materials within the environment and shown how to respect and care for the environment and all the things within it. Other activities such as singing, music and movement using percussion instrument and other forms of creativity are encouraged. Themes are also used every session to help the children learn about countries beyond his immediate environment. Overall, the child is given the necessary foundations for number and language work which the elementary school will build on.

5+ upwards (Primary)

The primary environment builds on the pre-school experience and reflects the child’s new stage across the British and Nigerian curriculum.
